Columbia Gas of Ohio Introduces New Prefab for Domestic Meter Settings
(Effective January 1, 2005)
This is an example of a standard Ohio domestic meter set assembly with optional bracket to ensure the "rigidly supported" requirement is met. Install the bracket below into the foundation and above the meter valve to prevent shorting across the insulated meter valve (refer to Section 3.3.8 of the Columbia Plumbers Guide).
NOTE: Bracket and meter not included with prefab.
