$10 Donated to Toys for Tots for each new paperless billing sign-up
Columbus, Ohio – For each customer who enrolls in Columbia Gas of Ohio’s free paperless Direct e-Bill service between now and November 30, 2013, the company will donate $10 to Toys for Tots units throughout Ohio up to $40,000.
Funds raised will go toward the distribution of toys to local children during this holiday season.
“We thank Columbia Gas of Ohio and its customers for their willingness to support the Toys for Tots’ mission in helping less fortunate children and to contribute to better communities in the future,” said retired Marine Corps Major Bill Grein, vice president of the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation.
Paperless Direct e-Bill is a free and convenient way for customers to manage their account and help the environment at the same time. Simply visit ColumbiaGasOhio.com/eBill and select “Manage Your Account” to sign up for free paperless Direct e-Bill services.
Instead of receiving a paper bill in the mail, e-Bill customers receive a monthly email with a link to view their bill and other account information on the day it’s ready, plus 24/7 access to that information. Customers also have the ability to view past bills, payment history, and pay their bill at no charge.
Toys for Tots, a 65 year national charitable program run by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve, provides happiness and hope to economically disadvantaged children during each Christmas holiday season. The toys, books and other gifts collected and distributed by the Marines offer these children recognition, confidence and a positive memory for a lifetime. It is such experiences that help children become responsible citizens and caring members of their community. Last year the Marine Corps fulfilled the holiday hopes and dreams of 7.1 million less fortunate children in over 745 communities nationwide. For more information, visit www.toysfortots.org.
