Darnita Bradley is local government affairs manager for Columbia Gas of Ohio. In her role, Darnita works collaboratively across the organization to monitor and assess local policy developments and aids in communicating, representing, and advocating the company’s position on these issues with key stakeholders. She supports Columbus, Central, Northeast and North Central Ohio.
Darnita joined Columbia in 1982 and has held a series of positions in customer service, engineering, rates and sales and marketing.
In 2017, she was appointed by Governor John R. Kasich to the Ohio Tax Credit Authority and by Mayor Andrew J. Ginther to the Columbus-Franklin County Finance Authority Board. Darnita also serves on the boards of the International Utility Economic Development Association, Ohio Economic Development Association, and Community Shelter Board.
Active in the community, she is a member of the United Way Public Policy Committee, United Way Women’s Leadership Council, Gahanna Community Reinvestment Area Housing Council and Columbus Chamber Governmental Affairs Committee. She is an alumna of the United Way Project Diversity, Leadership Columbus, and JoAnn Davidson Leadership Institute.
Darnita holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and master’s in business administration from Franklin University.
She resides in New Albany with her husband Carl and has one son Lance.
