Zane Daniels is local government affairs manager for Columbia Gas of Ohio. In his role, Zane works collaboratively across the organization to monitor and assess local policy developments and aids in communicating, representing, and advocating the company’s position on these issues with key stakeholders. He supports Toledo, Northwest, Southern and Eastern Ohio.
Zane began his career with NiSource in 2014, as community relations and stakeholder outreach manager and later transitioned to TransCanada Corporation. Before joining NiSource, he served as president of the Ohio Coal Association, where he was responsible for all federal and state legislative and regulatory activities.
He serves on the Ohio Gas Association Board of Trustees and is actively involved with Pelotonia. Zane holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Morehead State University.
A native of Greenfield, Ohio, Zane currently resides in Dublin with his wife Carrie and their son Landon.
