Dan Creekmur to assume new leadership role with NiSource, Inc.
Columbus, OH – Vince Parisi will rejoin Columbia Gas of Ohio on June 8, 2020, as President and Chief Operating Officer. He replaces Dan Creekmur, President and COO of Columbia Gas of Ohio who is transitioning into a new leadership role with parent company NiSource, Inc. as Senior Vice President and President, Gas Utilities.
These changes align with a series of leadership realignments announced today by NiSource, Inc. designed to position the company to support its enhanced focus on public safety, customer value and operational excellence.
Parisi will have P&L responsibility for Columbia Gas of Ohio and oversee the execution of operations, construction, risk management, regulatory, legislative and external strategies, with a focus on delivering safe, reliable and efficient natural gas service to 1.4 million customers across the company’s 61-county service territory. Parisi rejoins Columbia Gas after serving as president and CEO of Dayton Power & Light and Indianapolis Power & Light for the past year. During his previous tenure with Columbia Gas, Parisi served as vice president, finance and regulatory affairs and transitioned to vice president, customer and external affairs. Parisi brings 19 years of experience in the utilities industry, serving as a senior executive for 17 of those years at companies including Gas Natural Inc. and IGS Energy.

In his new role with NiSource, Inc., Creekmur will have responsibility for NiSource’s gas utility companies in Ohio, Indiana, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Kentucky and Maryland, reporting to Pablo Vegas, EVP, Chief Operating Officer and President of NiSource Utilities. Prior to his appointment as president of Columbia Gas of Ohio in 2015, Creekmur served as vice president of regulatory affairs. He led Columbia’s regulatory initiatives and strategy, economic development, local government policy and strategic initiatives functions, as well as its energy assistance and energy efficiency programs. Creekmur began his career with Columbia Gas in 2007 as an attorney, handling matters before the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio and Public Service Commission of Kentucky.
