Income Eligible Assistance Programs

WarmChoice® is a no-cost energy inspection and weatherization program that can reduce your bill by an average of 30 percent. (Up to 150 percent of the federal poverty guidelines)

Percentage of Income Payment Plan Plus (PIPP Plus)

Percentage of Income Payment Plan Plus (PIPP Plus) is a payment reduction program that allows you to pay just six percent of your monthly household income or a minimum of $10 for your gas service each year. PIPP Plus enrollment is provided by your local Community Action Agency. (Up to 150 percent of the federal poverty guidelines)

HeatShare is a fuel fund that combines customer, employee and stakeholder donations with company donations to assist customers in need of payment assistance. HeatShare assistance is provided by the Salvation Army. (Up to 175 percent of the federal poverty guidelines)

Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP)

Winter Crisis Program (Formerly Emergency HEAP)

Winter Crisis Program (Formerly Emergency HEAP) provides assistance once per heating season to households that are disconnected or threatened with disconnection for non-payment. To be eligible, you must sign up for PIPP Plus or another payment plan. Applications are accepted Nov. 1 through March 31 each year, and are available through your local Community Action Agency. (Up to 175 percent of the federal poverty guidelines)

Columbia Fuel Fund

Columbia Fuel Fund is a fund to use if you have exhausted all other available assistance programs. You could receive up to $250 per heating season with or without a disconnection notice. Columbia Fuel Fund services are provided by your local Community Action Agency. (Up to 200 percent of the federal poverty guidelines)
