Columbus, OH – NiSource (NYSE: NI) and Columbia Gas of Ohio announced today that Ashley Weaver has been named Vice President of Gas Operations for Columbia Gas of Ohio, effective March 1, 2025. This appointment furthers NiSource’s focus on driving quality customer service and ensuring the safety of employees, customers and communities across Ohio.
“I am confident in Ashley’s leadership as we continue focusing on safety and building additional rigor and layers of protection for our employees, customers and the communities we serve,” said William Mojica, Senior Vice President of Gas Operations with NiSource.
Weaver joined NiSource in 2023 as Vice President of Gas Distribution and Construction. Prior to joining NiSource, she served in various leadership roles throughout her 17-year tenure with American Electric Power (AEP). At AEP, Weaver was responsible for managing the transformation and repositioning of the company through a changing business climate.
Weaver received her Bachelor of Science degree in engineering at Miami University of Ohio and achieved a master’s degree in business administration at The Ohio State University.
