Available renter protection plans
Columbia Gas of Ohio has teamed up with Columbia Service Partners1 to offer customers the ability to add renter protection plans based on their rental type. Columbia Service Partners1 is not affiliated with, nor are their service plans provided by, your regulated utility Columbia Gas of Ohio.
Surge Protection Plan
Reimbursement of up to $2,500 annually for the repair or replacement of qualifying residential electronics, appliances, and more valued at $100 or more when they fail due to an electrical surge.
Preferred Surge Protection Plan
Reimbursement of up to $5,000 annually for the repair or replacement of qualifying residential electronics, appliances, and more valued at $100 or more when they fail due to an electrical surge.
Electronics Protection Plan
Repair or replacement protection of up to $1,000 per claim (up to $2,500 annually) for qualifying home electronics that fail due to manufacturer defects, normal wear and tear, or accidental damage.
Preferred Electronics Protection Plan
Repair or replacement protection of up to $2,500 per claim (up to $5,000 annually) for qualifying home electronics that fail due to manufacturer defects, normal wear and tear, or accidental damage.
