Digger Dog has a new home! – Sort of.
To share our safety messaging in more rural areas, COH has partnered with several communities to place Little Free Libraries for Digger Dog storybooks that share our key safety messages. Libraries were placed in Vinton County and the cities of Carey, Dexter and London.
Public Awareness Program Lead Kara Arnold said, “We’re always looking for fun and exciting ways to share our safety messages. These libraries not only promote reading but teach important lessons around natural gas safety as well.”
Each library is equipped with an initial 30 books, 811 messaging on the library box itself and a QR code for additional safety information. We hope to expand the program in the future. If you’re in the area, stop by and check them out!
