COLUMBUS, Ohio — As Hunger Action Month begins, Columbia Gas of Ohio is supporting nonprofit partners across the state that are working to reduce food insecurity and help Ohio families access the food they need. The effort also encourages customers, employees and community members to raise awareness and join the fight against hunger.

Throughout September, Columbia Gas team members will volunteer with hunger-focused nonprofits across the company’s service territory to help Ohioans facing food insecurity. Partner organizations include Mid-Ohio Food Collective, SE Ohio Foodbank, LifeCare Alliance, Children’s Hunger Alliance, Greater Cleveland Food Bank, Springfield Soup Kitchen, Connecting Kids to Meals and the Linden Fresh Market.
In addition to supporting hunger-focused organizations, Columbia Gas reminds customers that assistance is available to those who may be struggling to pay their natural gas bill, especially as colder weather approaches.
